Every Sunday morning our Club Pro, Martin Clements, conducts JUNIOR CLINICS on the Practice Fairway at Traralgon Golf Club.

SCHOOL VACATION CLINICS
(Addison Junior Challenge & Clinics)

Traralgon Golf Club Junior Committee hold clinics for children 10 years and over.

Addison Real Estate are proud sponsors of these clinics.

These clinics are always conducted on the last two days of the school holidays each term. 

They operate from 10am till 12.30pm on each day.

It costs $5.00 each day to attend these clinics and included in the $5.00 fee is a pie and soft drink for each child for lunch.

The clinics are open to Members and also non-Members children. So if your child or you have a neighbour, friend, relative etc with a child who is 10 years and over and you think they might be interested in learning the basic golfing skills please let them know about these clinics and have them report to the ‘starters office’ before 10.30am on either or both days.

Parents are welcome to stay with their children if they wish to.

At the clinics players are generally divided into three groups:

• Handicap players compete in an 18 hole event on each day.
   
• Intermediate players endeavor to further develop their skills in chipping and putting with a view to gaining a formal golf handicap. They often compete in a 9 hole event.  
  
  
• Beginning juniors participate in basic coaching clinics in hitting, chipping and putting as well as competing in teams in a series of golf drills and an Ambrose team event.

Many young golfers have progressed through these clinics and successfully gained a golf handicap and are enjoying their golfing experiences.
