Friday Nine and Dine

NINE & DINE
Since the conception of ‘NINE & DINE”, (the Friday afternoon 9-hole Competition followed by a cheap meal) was introduced in March, numbers have swelled and many who have regularly attended the Members’ Draw at 6.30 are staying on for the tasty meals prepared by Club members. It’s great to see the Clubhouse ‘buzzing’ again !!!
Many are involved with the preparation of meals …. now being organized by 4 different ‘teams’, Bonanza Nights included. Many others are assisting with provision of salads, donations of homegrown vegetables and the cleaning up afterwards. Support for this venture has been overwhelming and very encouraging…we even have our own ‘spit’ for preparing the Bonanza Night roasts!! (thanks to a generous benefactor!) Profit from both the meals and the golf go directly into Club funds for the Finance Committee to use as they see fit !!
Golf numbers decreased with the onset of Winter, but are expected to increase as the days lengthen. Hit-off time is from 2.30 onwards at present, but if you would like to play earlier just register with Leighton any time Friday.

ALL members and guests are welcome for golf and/or the meals.

NB: The course, clubhouse and kitchen have been booked for 17th October and 7th November, there will be no golf and meals cannot be served!! We apologise for any inconvenience and realize many ‘diners’ will be disappointed!! (we may make alternative dinner arrangements at a local eatery on these dates).
